Meet the Valley Kicker™
Effective even in heavy downpours, Valley Kicker™ often eliminates the need for gutter splash guards, enhancing overall gutter performance and home appearance.
Developed by a contractor with over 25 years of gutter installation experience, the Valley Kicker™ was created to address troublesome rainwater buildup, especially under roof valleys. Valley Kicker’s™ unique, patented “catch and curl” design redirects and accelerates roof valley rainwater toward the downspout before it hits the bottom of the gutter.
Made from durable UV- resistant polypropylene with a Left or Right ramped discharge, Valley Kicker™ simply slips into the corners of 5″ gutter systems. It is easily secured with a drill and 5 provided hex-head screws. Applicable for both residential and commercial, Valley Kicker™ is ideal for any climate, built to withstand both hot and cold weather conditions.
The Design
Valley Kicker™ is designed to sit inside and attach to the front lip of a 5” gutter with the ramped mouth of the product pointing toward the Right or Left downspout. It can be installed in the inside corner of the gutter system or in the straight run directly under the roof’s valley.
Though most often eliminating the need for them, Valley Kicker™ can be used with
or without gutter splash guards. It is also compatible with most gutter leaf covers.

Installation
TOOLS NEEDED:
Ladder, Drill, ¼” drive/socket, (5) ½” screws (provided)
- Clean gutter, valley and downspout from all debris.
- Loosen gutter brackets near valley and move if needed. Insert Left or Right Valley Kicker™ into gutter under valley.
- Take 5 zip screws. Using drill and ¼” driver, screw front of Valley Kicker™ into top of gutter lip. Gently lift up rear of Valley Kicker™ and attach back screws into fascia/drip edge utilizing Valley Kicker’s™ pre-drilled holes.
- Retighten gutter brackets. Test with water to make sure the product is flowing properly toward the desired downspout.
